What rabbit repellent is best for a small garden?

I was wondering if anyone has any advice for a small garden owner about what to use in a tiny garden. I haven’t had much luck with any homemade methods and im sick of the few plants I have being trashed.

I have found that stringing fishing string around my garden helps tremendously. String two or three strands close to the ground and close together pulled tightly. Only my green bean plants were being eaten but stopped after applying that string. Be careful not to trip over it yourself

I have found that going around your small garden with fishing string, about two or three times close to the ground and somewhat close together and pulled tight will help deter rabbits. Be careful not to trip over it yourself by forgetting about it. This also helps deter other animals. After applying the fishing string the rabbits managed to get the very end plants but I never had a problem with them going in the garden and destroying the whole row they mainly ate my green beans must be a favorite. I tried using a live trap to catch them did not work I managed to only catch Stray Cats. There is a reason Elmer Fudd could never catch Bugs Bunny they are fast and smart. Hope this helps good luck

I've been mixing a combination of cheap baby oil - as the base oil, then equal parts of peppermint, eucalyptus & menthol - it's worked an absolute treat! Garden smells interesting too.... and after stinking it out and failing miserably with chilli powder and garlic, I think my neighbours appreciate the fragrance a little more!!

If you keep having rabbit issues I would switch to a raised garden or hydroponics.

Sorry to hear my homemade methods didnt work. You must have some hungry buggers. It might be worth trying a simple professional spray such as a bottle Gardgen Grazzer or setting up a Ultrasonicpesr repeller if your truly in need of a cure.

If all else fails try different sections of my site for more help. I would strongly recommend Trapping to anyone with the means.
